GREENSBORO— Gerard M. Chapman gave a panel presentation at the American
Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Conference November 29-30, 2007 in Scottsdale,
Arizona. The panel was entitled “Conflicts of Interest and Ethics”
and was part of a Seminar entitled “The New Era of Worksite Enforcement-Protections
for Employers and their Employees”, based on the 650 page workbook co-edited
by Mr. Chapman and published by AILA. Mr. Chapman is the principal of Chapman
Law Firm in Greensboro, and has been active in many national and state AILA
committees since 1987. He is a board-certified immigration law specialist, a
Trustee of the American Immigration Law Foundation and Chair of its Immigration
Policy Center. Mr. Chapman is included in both the 2007 and 2008 editions of
The Best Lawyers in America in the specialty of Immigration Law. He has also
been chosen for inclusion in the 2008 Super Lawyers list for immigration specialists
